2. Processing of your personal data

By visiting and/or using the service offered on our website www.epitech.eu you agree to the collection, use and transfer of your personal data within the limits and framework defined below.

2.1 What data is collected and how?

In some cases, you may be asked to leave personal data that is personally identifiable or directly identifying (identity data, data relating to personal life, data relating to professional life such as CV, education, etc.). The compulsory or optional nature of the data is indicated at the time of collection by an asterisk.

In addition, when you visit our website and use our services, we may collect and process data relating to your browsing habits (in particular cookies, your IP address, the addresses of the pages you have visited and the searches you have carried out), and to your terminal (type of browser used, model and version of your operating system, presence of certain plug-ins, etc.).

With your consent, we will also perform an approximate geolocation of your home town based on your IP address.

2.3 What is the purpose?

In particular, we use your personal data to :

• Allow you to use our services and its various functionalities

• Inform you about the services you have expressed an interest in and which are offered to you on our site

2.5 Our recipients

The data collected on our site is exclusively intended for Ionis Group companies and their possible subcontractors. Any transmission of this data to third-party companies is subject to your prior consent.
Your data may be passed on to our partners, subject to your consent, in order to display advertising tailored to your interests and whereabouts.

When you contact one of the schools listed on our site, your contact data is transmitted to the professional concerned for the purposes of finalizing your communication. The professional concerned is responsible for processing the data he or she collects in the course of making an appointment (which may, depending on the type of professional, include personal data relating to your recruitment, for example).

Your contributions (photos, etc.) are also publicly accessible on our service.

2.6 Data retention period

Your user data is kept for 3 years from the last trace of activity on your account. For security reasons, if you have not logged on to the Site for a period of three years, you will receive an e-mail inviting you to log on as soon as possible, failing which your data will be deleted from our databases.

Your technical data relating to your browsing is kept for the time strictly necessary for the purpose of the processing in question and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations.

Your data collected by cookies is kept for a maximum of 13 months after it is first deposited on your terminal. This applies to information collected with your consent. The lifetime of cookies is not extended with each visit. Your consent will be requested again at the end of this period.

2.7 Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, port, oppose and/or limit the processing of your data, and withdraw your consent at any time.

You may also decide to delete your account by going to the Account deletion menu in your account settings if applicable.

In the event of a breach of one or more of the provisions of the TOS or any other document incorporated herein by reference, we reserve the right to terminate or restrict, without prior notice and at our sole discretion, your use of and access to the services, your account and all the Sites.

You can exercise these rights by providing proof of identity and indicating the name of the school and site to which you are assigned:

3. Our commitments in the event of a security breach

We undertake to implement all appropriate technical and organizational measures to guarantee a level of security appropriate to the risks of accidental, unauthorized or illegal access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction of your personal data. In the event that we become aware of unlawful access to your personal data stored on our servers or those of our service providers, or of unauthorized access resulting in the risks identified above, we undertake to :

• Notify you of the incident as soon as possible
• Examine the causes of the incident and report back to you
• To take all reasonable steps to mitigate any negative effects and damages that may result from the said incident.
• Limitation of liability: Under no circumstances may the commitments defined above concerning notification in the event of a security breach be assimilated to any recognition of fault or liability for the occurrence of the incident in question.

4. Modification of this section

We reserve the right to modify, at any time and without notice, all or part of our rules relating to the protection of privacy. We therefore advise you to refer regularly to the latest version of these rules, which is permanently available on our Site. Modifications come into force on the date they are posted on our Site and are enforceable on the date of your first use of it.
