Are you passionate about video games and want to become a game developer?
Immerse yourself in the exciting world of game development and build your very own from scratch, at Epitech in Paris! Created by experts in the field of game development, the Epitech 2025 Winter School will bring the best of innovation, creativity and passion for technology to offer you a unique experience. This year’s Winter School theme revolves around the challenges our world is currently facing. During the 3-week course you will develop a game that will reflect your own creative voice and vision for a better world.
There is only one main condition to succeed: unleash your creativity!
Agenda outline
WEEK #1: Game Design Exploration
You will build a team with other international students, brainstorm the game concepts, define core mechanics and shape a creative vision with your team members.
WEEK #2: Video Game Development
Hands-on coding and design to bring the game concept to life, focusing on development.
WEEK #3: Final presentation
Testing the game, gathering feedback, fixing issues, it’s time to unveil your final presentation! Be creative!
Practical information
When?
- From January 6 to January 24, 2025 (3 weeks program).
- Application deadline – November 12th 2024
How much?
- Program fees: 2 650€ (all inclusive)
- Discount fee: applicable for partners universities who send 5 students or more. Please refer to your international office to check a possible existing collaboration between your university and Epitech
What you get ?
- Certificate: Students will receive a certificate granting them the equivalent of 6 ECTS
- All-inclusive Program: the fee covers all courses, housing, breakfast and lunch on weekdays, French language courses, all cultural activities & trips, a farewell party, a 3-week Paris transport pass and more!
Admission requirements
Computer Science or Information Technology Background: Applicants should possess a background in Computer Science or Information Technology. Ideally, candidates should have basic programming skills, with a minimum of one year of experience in programming.
English Proficiency: Acceptable English proficiency levels include CECRL B2, IELTS 5.5/6, TOEIC 600, or TOEFL IBT 65 or attestation from their home university validating their proficiency in English.
Participants must bring a laptop – all other devices and software will be provided by Epitech.

Winter School 2025 Application form
Before filling in this form, please make sure you have the following documents ready:
- copy of your passport
- copy of your university transcripts translated in English
- certificate of English language proficiency (TOEFL IBT: 65 / IELTS: 5.5/ TOEIC: 600/ CECRL B2/Internal test or certificate of English proficiency from your home institution)
- short statement explaining why you want to participate in our Winter School
